Budner is in his eighth season as a coach in the Mariners organization, his first with the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx...Spent the 2005-2007 seasons as the pitching coach with High Desert...Spent 2000-2004 as the pitching coach with San Antonio...Spent 1995-1999 in private business...Was a minor league pitching coach in the Oakland organization from 1990-1994...Spent three seasons, 1988-1990, as pitching coach at Jacksonville University...Was assistant golf pro in Florida in 1986-1987...Had a seven-year minor league pitching career in the Baltimore and San Francisco organizations, reaching as high as Triple-A...Attended Eastern Connecticut State.
